What is Jeevn?

Jeevn exists to optimise every aspect of your wellbeing to power peak performance, productivity and improved health. Jeevn was created to give high-impact individuals the platform to improve their performance and extend their healthspan through a holistic programme, incorporating state-of-the-art diagnostics, sector-leading health professionals, and high quality mental performance coaches. Our aim is to bring the expertise and support received by professional athletes to those who are striving for self-optimisation.

What is included in the Jeevn programmes?

  • The Jeevn programme includes:
    • Cutting edge diagnostics (blood testing, epigenetic testing, genetic testing, smart activity and sleep tracker, smart body composition scale, smart blood pressure monitor, continuous glucose monitor)
    • Specialist-led health and wellbeing interventions designed to supercharge performance and optimise health. You meet your health specialist weekly via video conference, and they are available on chat whenever you like
    • High quality mental performance coaching to offer a holistic programme to improve your performance
  • You have the option to subscribe to Jeevn with or without mental performance coaching.

Is the programme personalised?

Yes. Creating a highly personalised programme is fundamental to what we offer at Jeevn. We tailor our programme not only to your goals and initial diagnostics, but use your ongoing results and changing circumstances to further align your programme to your body along the way.

Where is Jeevn available?

  • Jeevn will be available in the UK, USA, the Middle-East, India and East-Africa by March 2024.

Does Jeevn have a physical location?

+

  • No. Jeevn offers a remote-first service to allow us to best fit around your schedule. There are physical touch points to the service, such as the phlebotomy service. This involves a nurse coming to a location of your convenience (for example, your home or your office) to take your blood sample. Your other diagnostic tests are done via self-testing kits, which will be sent directly to you. All of your consultations with your Jeevn team are held remotely, via the Jeevn platform.
  • If necessary, your Jeevn team will point you towards partners operating physical locations (clinics, physiotherapists, gyms) required as part of your programme or protocols.

Will Jeevn replace my primary health care provider?

Jeevn is not a replacement for your primary health care provider. Our programme aims to optimise your mental and physical performance. If you have a medical problem while you are on the Jeevn programme, or an underlying medical issue is detected during your diagnostic testing, you should contact your primary health care provider as normal.

Who is Jeevn for?

Jeevn is for anyone who wants to improve their productivity, mental performance or long-term health, in particular those who operate in pressured and stressful environments. This could be executives, entrepreneurs, artists, athletes or busy parents. The programme is highly customised and structured around your specific needs and goals. Members from all backgrounds, health status and fitness levels will achieve significant improvements in their output with Jeevn personally, physically and professionally.

I'm not a senior executive or pro athlete. Is Jeevn for me?

Jeevn is designed for people who want to optimise their mental and physical performance. We have taken many learnings from the environments of senior executives and pro athletes, but the programme is built to get the most out of anyone who is committed to improvement. If you are committed, you deserve the professional support required to reach your goals - this is what Jeevn offers.

I'm busy and travel often. Is now a good time for me to join Jeevn?

Our programme has been designed specifically to fit around busy and complex schedules. That is why we have tried at all times to reduce the burden of time on our members, allowing you to both benefit from Jeevn, and continue to achieve at work and in life simultaneously.

If I already feel healthy, how will Jeevn be useful?

If you already feel healthy, that's a great starting point. Jeevn's goal isn't just for you to be healthy, it is to allow you to reach your peak mental and physical performance levels. We believe that with the right structured support you can achieve more in work and in life, and Jeevn is here to help you do that.

I have a medical condition. Is Jeevn suitable for me?

Jeevn is not a replacement for primary medical services, but the team does contain numerous medical professionals who can work with you to tailor the programme around your clinical needs and any potential limitations.

How do I join Jeevn?

You have the option to either apply directly via the website, or book a free, no obligations 15 minute consultation with our team who will explain the programme and answer any questions you may have about the process.

Is Jeevn covered by medical insurance?

Currently, Jeevn is not covered by medical insurance providers.

What if I already have a personal trainer or a nutritionist?

  • One of the key benefits of the Jeevn programme is its holistic nature. Our clinicians, performance specialists and coaches work together to curate a programme that works in sync across your lifestyle pillars - physical activity, sleep, nutrition and therapeutics. They do this by interacting regularly and monitoring your data and self-reported feedback. We would highly recommend you work with our team across all areas in order to derive the most value from the programme.
  • However, we recognise certain members may already have trusted specialists. We are happy to adjust the programme to allow you to continue to address that aspect of your lifestyle with your trusted specialist on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us at info@jeevn.com.

Can I join Jeevn through my company?

Absolutely, you are able to sign-up for Jeevn through your company or organisation. Please specify your company's details in the checkout process.

What tests and assessments are involved in the Jeevn programme?

The Jeevn programmes includes the following tests and assessments (depending on the plan you select):
  • Blood tests
  • Genetic test
  • Epigenetic (biological age) test
  • Sleep, activity and vital metrics tracking via a smart health wearable
  • Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM)
  • Smart body composition scale
  • Smart (connected) blood pressure monitor
  • Lifestyle audit including medical history, routines, habits and environmental factors
  • Health specialist assessment
  • Mental performance coaching assessment

I have an old mobile phone - will it work with the Jeevn app and the various devices?

  • Android - The Jeevn app is compatible with Android devices running Android 10 and later. You must be able to access the Google Play Store to download the Jeevn app.
  • iOS - The Jeevn app is compatible with Apple devices running iOS 15 and later. You must be able to access the Apple Store to download the Jeevn app.

Which laboratories do you use for diagnostic testing?

Jeevn only works with certified laboratories, with the required ISO certifications in place.

Where will my phlebotomy appointment take place?

+

The choice is yours! You will be contacted by our phlebotomy team who will come to your home or work to carry out the test when it suits you. The appointment should take no longer than 20 minutes.

Can I test for additional markers that are not on Jeevn's blood panels?

+

The Jeevn blood tests have been carefully designed by our experts and are extensive in nature, with over 70 blood biomarkers analysed. While these tests are not customisable, should your first blood test indicate that further investigation of additional markers may be required, this will be arranged within your next quarterly blood test.

Do I need to fast before my blood draw?

Yes, please fast for 8-12 hours before your blood test to get the most accurate results.

I am scared of needles. What should I do?

+

Our phlebotomy team is trained to deal with needle phobia, and with the blood tests being done where you would like, we will do everything needed to facilitate a calm environment. If you can’t complete the blood test because of a phobia of needles, we will offer a less comprehensive blood test via finger-prick self-testing. We can still complete the rest of the Jeevn programme assessments and give you a tailored performance plan.

Why use Jeevn rather than a blood testing company?

At Jeevn we believe that blood testing is an important part of the programme, but it is only part of the programme. As part of a holistic approach, we use the results from blood tests along with other diagnostics to build an in-depth picture of your overall performance, and work with you to achieve your goals. This approach is not possible with blood tests alone.

Which wearable / smart health devices are included as part of the programme?

  • Smart Sleep & Activity Tracker:
    • Jeevn is compatible with the following smart health & activity trackers:
      • Oura Ring (Generation 3)
    • You will receive a 12-month membership to that specific device's app included within the cost of the Jeevn programme.
    • If you already own the device above and have an active subscription, our team will issue you a refund of $250 after you sign up. If you pay for the entire programme upfront, this will come through as a refund to your chosen payment method. This will be deducted from your Month 2 invoice.
  • Withings Body Smart Body Composition Scale
  • Withings Blood Pressure Monitor

How do I connect these devices to the Jeevn app?

There will be a simple linking process in the Jeevn app to connect your devices data to Jeevn. Full instructions are provided in the Jeevn app. Once your device is linked your real-time health data will be visible in your Jeevn app and available for your health specialists to review and support you with your progress.

Why do I have to download so many apps?

+

Jeevn is the main app you will interact with throughout the programme. You will have to set up accounts for your wearable / smart health devices, for which you will have to download the manufacturer’s app and link your device just as you would if you purchased these devices outside the Jeevn programme. However, once you connect your devices to the Jeevn app, you will just use the Jeevn app throughout the rest of the programme.

What is a CGM and how do I use it?

CGM stands for Continuous Glucose Monitor. This is a monitor that records your glucose level in realtime, giving you unprecedented insights into how your body reacts to and metabolises different foods. It is a simple, painless process (you may feel a very slight prod) to apply the CGM - full instructions will be provided in the Jeevn app. You will also follow a simple process to link the CGM data to Jeevn. The CGM lasts for 10 days.

Will I get all the results from my blood, genetic and epigenetic tests?

Yes. We not only give you all your results with interpretations, but we incorporate the important results into a Jeevn Report which you will go through with your health coach as part of the programme.

How long do the lab results take to come back?

+

It takes 3-4 weeks from collection for the blood, genetic and epigenetic tests to be processed, reviewed and returned in your Jeevn Report.

How will the results be explained to me?

+

Your results will be delivered to you in a session with your health specialist, who will be able to take you through the learnings, present them within the context of your personalised protocols and answer any specific questions you have.

Who reviews my results?

All diagnostic test results are reviewed by a qualified medical doctor.

When in the process does the lifestyle coaching start?

+

Your first meeting with your health specialist is scheduled within a few days of joining the programme. This will be a one-hour consultation to dive into your current lifestyle, routines, challenges and goals. The first 3-4 weeks constitute the onboarding phase where we will align specific protocols to your goals based on your health data. All the while you will be meeting your health specialist regularly for ongoing support and advice.

How can I talk to my health specialist?

You will have regular video sessions with your health specialist to guide you through your programme. Outside of that you will be able to reach them through our chat functionality to help guide you through day-to-day issues.

When will I start to see results?

With appropriate commitment and engagement with your health specialist and your personalised protocol, you will begin to see meaningful results within as little as a month of beginning the lifestyle coaching.

Do I need a gym membership?

No. Your Jeevn health specialist will tailor your workout plans to your available equipment and environment, as well as your current physical condition and any injuries you may have.

What if I have an injury?

Jeevn is a bespoke programme that will tailor its interventions and support around your physical and mental needs. As such we will adjust your plan to fit around any injury.

Who makes up the Jeevn team?

The Jeevn team is made up of world leading specialists across performance coaching, medicine, nutrition, sleep and exercise. They have worked together to create a programme that harnesses their individual expertise, and channels it into a targeted action plan for performance improvement and health optimisation.

Do I work with a human or AI?

At Jeevn, we firmly believe that human interaction is at the centre of a highly effective performance programme, whilst AI and technology can help us more efficiently achieve our goals. Our holistic approach allows us to marry the benefits of human and AI interactions into an optimised and tailored process for our members.

Where is Jeevn headquartered?

Jeevn is headquartered in the UK, but has a team of professionals with global experience across a number of fields.

Is the Jeevn platform secure?

Data security has been a key priority for our service from its conception. We are GDPR and HIPAA compliant, meaning that your data is handled in a secure and regulated manner, giving you peace of mind that we do everything in our power to keep your information safe and secure.

How do you use my data? Do you share or sell it?

We do not sell or share your data. At Jeevn, the safety and security of your information is paramount to our programme and we have prioritised this in the business from the beginning. We use your data to refine your own individual Jeevn protocol. We will only ever share your non-identifiable data with your explicit consent.

Does Jeevn work with organisations?

Jeevn is always happy to work with employers to directly improve the performance and health of their employees. For many employers, investing in their workforce with a product like Jeevn is a key way to motivate and reward team members. You will receive a unique referral code when you sign up to Jeevn. Your friend simply has to enter your unique code on the checkout page when signing up to Jeevn.
